A Quick Customize button at the bottom of the tools panel allows you to add or remove tools for your particular workflow. The Essentials workspace presents a simplified set of the most common editing tools. The first time you choose either the Essentials or Complete workspaces, a wizard opens in an inset screen and introduces the workspace. The enhancements Corel made to the user interface will benefit both new and existing users. Mehdi, Roseman and Redfield are exceptions.Ĭorel still ships PSP 2022 with the KTP-collection, which is 32-bits only, btw.The Manage mode of the Complete workspace is a file management system as well as a file browser. Most old plug-ins haven't been updated by their writers to 64-bits. I can see your point, especially if you use PSP for photo-editing only, but in the Dutch speaking psp-world PSP is used for a different purpose to make creations with picture tubes. But they have to work (or not) for me to be able to answer questions about them. I must admit, I seldom use those plug-ins myself. I don't seem to have a problem with the new version. Some of them are still 16-bits and working. I have both the 32-bits and the 64-bits of PSP 2022 (and older versions) installed as I get questions on a daily basis about the old plug-ins. My pc has had the Windows check and it is ready for Windows 11. Personally I prefer to remove any obstacles that could cause future compatibility issues with Windows 11. Keep in mind, the writing is on the wall, 32 bit processing is being phased out. I would recommend against installing the 32 bit portion as it will most likely reduce efficiency in processing, but if you have older add-ons they may not work without installing both 32 bit and 64 bit versions. Windows 11 is just around the corner and it is focused on 64 bit archetecture. First impression is that it seems to open faster but that is yet to be seen.

You might think that you could revert to using an old-style hub, given that hubs don’t segment network traffic as switches do and this “hubbing out” method might work, but even hubs don’t necessarily pass all traffic. (Here’s one of the benefits of those more expensive managed switches.) The Wireshark SwitchReference page could be helpful here it’s at. Check your switch to see if you can configure the port you’re using for Wireshark to have all traffic sent to it (“monitor” mode), and/or to “mirror” traffic from one port to another. If you’re connected to a switch as opposed to a hub, broadcast traffic and multicast traffic will go to all ports, but unicast traffic does not. So before you use this tool to draw conclusions about traffic on your Windows network, it’s worth seeing if you’re really capturing what you think you’re capturing. This is not necessarily the case, and there could be several reasons for it. If you’re using the Wireshark packet sniffer and have it set to “promiscuous mode” in the Capture Options dialog box, you might reasonably think that you’re going to be seeing all the traffic on your network segment. “Promiscuous mode” (you’ve gotta love that nomenclature) is a network interface mode in which the NIC reports every packet that it sees. “He HMU just last week” or “They HMU asking for a ride” is how you would phrase it if you want to describe a situation in which a friend or acquaintance messaged you out of the blue. Simply say “HMU” whenever you would want to say “hit me up.” You could say, “HMU when you return home,” or, “HMU when you’re ready to hang out.” It’s a simple abbreviation again, so there’s no need to be concerned about incorrect syntax. If anything, HMU’s meaning is being looked up less often because it’s now so widely used, most people are familiar with its definition. This does not necessarily imply that the phrase is less popular than it was previously. HMU searches have fluctuated significantly over the last decade, peaking in 2010 and then leveling off after a year. For comparison, the contraction wasn’t even mentioned in Facebook’s 2009 Memology report. HMU went from being a rarity to being one of the most popular trends in 2010, according to Facebook’s Memology study. HMU meaning was originally defined on Urban Dictionary in 2009, and it exploded in popularity by the end of 2010. HMU is usually used informally, and it’s not necessarily an invitation to come over. It can be used to start a conversation, to ask for advice, or to just generally get in touch. HMU’s history isn’t nearly as fascinating as all of that. HMU stands for hit me up, which is a slang phrase used to ask someone to contact them, usually via text or messaging. You will have more time to think about true emission-free mobility! Imaging not having to worry about complying with brake dust emission limits thanks to brake dust particle filters. More time to produce groundbreaking visions and decisions. Call it groundbreaking if you want to.įiltration can help with this: In taking current worries off your table, it is creating more time for laziness. We need people who are willing and able to come up with smart and clear visions, but above all, well-founded, well-thought-out, and sometimes also tough decisions. There are administrative workers in abundance for that. What applies to leaders in business also applies to leaders in politics: We do not need paper-pushers in the highest offices. And yet, in the meantime, the business continues. We need people who can afford to be lazy and look out of the window, draw inspiration from that and come-up with visions and decisions. “But give yourself plenty of time to think and become completely clear about things for yourself. Why? There is enough “mental clarity and fortitude for tough decisions! Free yourself from doing the legwork!” According to General von Hammerstein-Equord there are enough smart and hardworking people for that. The best pairing and qualification for the highest rankings from his point of view: smart and lazy! Stupid and hardworking - beware, this can quickly lead to disaster. Smart and hardworking - off to the general staff. Usually, two characteristics appear in combination: Von Hammerstein-Equord established the following classifications for army officers: smart, hardworking, stupid, and lazy. I recently came across a paper by Kurt von Hammerstein-Equord, a German general during the Weimar Republic and a declared opponent of the Nazis. |
